Caring For Clear-Plastic Accessories

Whether they are made from acrylic to the more expensive Lucite and Perspex, they all deserve the same special care. Here's how to keep them in tip-top condition, so you can wear them a few seasons longer :

  • Remove plastic rings and bangles before taking a shower and doing household cleaning, as soaps and detergents can cause a film to form on them, causing colour dullness.
  • Apply your makeup, ahir spray and perfume first and put on your accessories last as they can become discoloured by the chemicals in your beauty products.
  • An inexpensive and effective way of cleaning acrylic or even Plexiglass is to soak it in clean cold water after each use and dry using a chamois cloth.
  • Don't use toothpaste or bleach to clean your accessories.
  • When not in use, store them separately in soft cloth punches or zip lock bags so they don;t get scratched by your metal jewelery

White Dresses...

Rectangle Shape
A sleeveless dress with details around the shoulders and neckline highlights your slim upper body. Pleats on the chest and embroidery on the bottom half add depth and a touch of fullness to your silhouette. For weekend shopping trips with friends, add a scarf for a relaxed vibe. Carry a laid-back tote across your body and leave your hands free to carry your shopping bags. Don't be afraid to show off your long lean legs in platform heels.

Petite Shape
A just-above-the knee hemline gives the illusion of a slightly taller body. Lightweight fabrics and ruffles add a bit of curve while still keeping the line of your body clean. Your first dinner date? It's important to be confortable, so wear wedges instead of strappy stillettos as they add height minus the pian. A sweet floral bag conveys a sense of romance and adds colour to your outfit.

 Apple Shape
Bring balance to your body and accentuate your killer pins with an A-line dress. Avoid clingy and fancy fabrics, instead, choose one with a nice fall. On casual Fridays, cinch your trapeze dress at the waist with a belt and opt for neutral coloured, pointed-toe heels instead of flats. An oversized clutch in glossy patent finish gives your outfit an instant corporate update. If showing legs is an absolute no-no at your workplace, wear opaque tights.

Fashion S.O.S : Grown Up Bows

Embrace femininity with this trend while still looking like an adult.

  • A bow-adorned dress has a fun and flirty look, but choose an appropriately sized bow - you don;t want to come off looking like a huge wrapped gift!
  • Skip the frills and keep the rest of your outfit simple, in both colour and pattern.
  • Balance out a bow-detailed blouse with a masculine-looking bottom.
  • If you can't resist a bow headband, wear it only when you're out with friends, not to the office.

    Best Bikini For Your Shape

Before you shop, you need to know which styles are most likely to flatter your figure :

    • Triangular, spaghetti-strap tops are better suited to women with small busts. Find one that has soft padding to add curves and confidence.
    • Pear-shaped women need to divert attention from their hips and butt, so choose a bikini with detailing on top.
    • If you have a big bust, look for bikini bottoms that have interesting detailing to divert attention from the top half.

There are two ways to deal with the problem :
to disguise it or to slim it.

Here are three shoes that will work for you.

The chunky platform balances out bulk and lends the appearance of length.

Everyone will notice the pretty embellishments and not your ankles.

T-straps draw the eye in and down so your legs appear  leaner.
